So happy that my great composer friend from New York, @sebcurrier, made it to our premiere marathon!
He wrote a fantastic Violin Concerto (”Time Machine“) and “Ringtones“ for bass and fiddle. We just recorded this together with his stunning “Ghost Trio”.
The two composers had an absolute ball chatting.
Also, love these inspirations. Nothing beats a Sunday morning museum tour!

Totally excited about working with @maxrichtermusic and thinking with huge gratitude of the one and only John Williams.
Making music with the wonderful Maestro @manfredhoneck and the musicians of the @viennasymphony Orchestra will forever remain a truly unique memory.
Backstage impressions of me rehearsing the phenomenon Walz by John Williams.

Congrats to the fabulous @viennasymphony Orchestra!
So much looking forward to our @johannstrauss2025 Gala with Maestro @manfredhoneck tomorrow, October 25, the very birthday of Johann Strauss ||, in the one and only Goldener Saal of the @musikverein.wien!
After today’s mega rehearsal of the two brand-new works by John Williams and @maxrichtermusic, a serious carb & sugar high was absolutely required!
2025 marks the 200th anniversary of Strauss’s birth, and Vienna celebrates under the joyful motto “Wien in Strauss und Braus.”
I feel deeply honored to premiere these beautiful new compositions written in tribute to the Waltz King. John Williams even described Strauss’ waltzes as “filmic before film existed.”
What a joy to share this special birthday and jubilee in the heart of Vienna. ❤️

The touring diary entries aren’t over yet! Munich was truly special yesterday. I’ve rarely seen the audience at the Isar Philharmonie so completely immersed in a performance.
@pabloferrandez.cellist and @yefimbronfman - what a deep joy it was to share this musical conversation with you both.
We ended the night with a fun dinner, got very little sleep (again!), and now… Paris, mon amour! ❤️ The art pieces were amazing inspiration.
P.S. I found a little reminder in my hotel room that I’m playing Beethoven tonight 😁 And here’s proof that Fima practices non-stop though he doesn’t need to! 🎻
Art pieces: Gerhardt Richter
Location: Fondation Louis Vuitton pour la Création

The Trio Tour Diary goes on, this time from Barcelona. We’re still glowing after last night’s concert at the stunning Palau de la Música Catalana. It’s a true jewel of light, color and sound.
Absolutely enjoyed playing Beethoven’s Archduke and Tchaikovsky’s Trio in A minor with @yefimbronfman and @pabloferrandez.cellist. We ended with Schindler’s List, which is deeply emotional. What a magical hall. What a wonderful audience. Gracias Barca!

I’m back! In this Q&A video, I’m answering some of your questions, including details about the strings and rosin I use. I also talk about what motivates me to rehearse and share a few updates on recording trio sessions. Plus, I reflect a bit on how I deal with stage anxiety. And on a more personal note, I let you in on how much sleep I usually get and what I typically have for breakfast. Wishing all of you a happy start to the autumn season🍂

(I use the Andrea version and lots of it!)
Come to our tour! For all piano trio fans: As long as there is no recording of the Archduke and Tschaikowski by us - you better join us on tour 😇

Little Capri Photo & Video Dump🙏
Monte Solaro and the famous Arco Naturale are just spectacular. Especially when you walk up from Anacapri… heightens the happiness arriving at the top for sure 😁
I met a new animal friend, who’s clearly a fan of violin music😜
Had to feature this shadow portrait because even shadows love sunsets magic. Look at this special one at Faro di Punta Carena: nature’s encore.
A must-see: The Certosa San Giacomo is an amazing space for art!
